Things I fear:

1. All my teeth falling out and swallowing them.
2. Instant dangerous (ie explosive) reaction if two separate cleaning products merge.
3. Contamination of kitchen counter from raw chicken and eggs. (Sidenote: this applies only to the counter because I have no qualms consuming my body weight in raw chocolate chip cookie dough and batter.)
4. Rounding the corner by the back door and a random stranger standing there to greet me.
5. My car breaking down in the middle of a road/intersection.
6. Having some rare blood disease and/or an abscess in my throat (It's possible. I saw it on the discovery channel).
7. Coming home and finding something drastically wrong with one of my kitties.
8. The discontinuation of my favorite hair care products.
9. Choking while driving. (I have ceased to eat in my car.)
10. False Imprisonment. (I've watched too many movies such as brokedown palace)

I'm eating candied pecans while reading your blog and now I fear #1.

Cindy, your sounding a bit phobic. I guess it's true when people say that 99% of the things we worry about never come to fruition (cause the likelihood of these things happening - or creating a real issue seems slim) ;) Cindy, do you by any chance watch a lot of Lifetime (television for women)? ;)

Ahhh Cindy. Let me see if I can help you with any of these items of fear. 1. Is just not going to happen 2. two cleaning products put together may cause the production of toxic gas - but at least you don't really have to worry about an explosion. 3. get out those cleaning products and you have nothing to fear here. 4. Go through the front door 5. AAA- you are good to go. 6. refer back to #1. 7. You take good care of the kitties, they will probably live to be 20. 8. Can't help you here. You'd have to delve into the product guru that you are and find something else. 9. you've already solved this one and 10. yup, you are watching the wrong things. Hope this helps to alleviate your fears. And if that doesn't do it, remember that the Lord is always with us and is fully in control of things. Love you Dear.

I was gonna agree with a few of your phobias like #1, 4, 5 and then read your mom's explanations so I feel better. But mom #10 can so happen!
