The quest for certainty

I was talking with a friend (nay a GREAT friend) of mine last night, and I was sharing with her that I just wish I knew for certain so many more things than I do. I wish I knew what the future held. I wish I knew how specific things are going to turn out ahead of time. She's such an encouraging friend; I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation we shared. After I got off the phone, the conversation led me to create a list of things I know with absolute certainty.

Updated list
1. God has a distinct plan for my life.
2. Waking up earlier makes for an unrushed morning.
3. My friends listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit ;)
4. Tea can, at times, be soul-satisfying.
5. Music makes the work day go by faster.
6. God hears me when I pray.
7. I always smile when I think about a particular person.
8. My mom is an incredible woman.
9. The sun will rise and set each day, time continues on.
10.All food sounds incredible when I'm hungry.

hhmm...you all have me thinking about blogging. I hate it! I have loved to write forever, but enjoy the privacy of my own little journal (yeah, when I was little it was the diary with the little key) So, NOT COMMITTED, just wondering, how do you make one of these here things?

Perhaps if I knew who you were Anonymous, I would be more inclined to help. Until then, STAY OFF MY BLOG!

Adding to your list, and agreeing with #'s 1,3,4,4,4,6,6,6,8,8,8,8,8,& 9---I know my sins are forgiven, and my future home is in heaven. I know that however bleak life can sometimes be, and however uncertain many things are, God is
ALWAYS good, and always working in our lives for his glory and our best good. I also know I'm thankful for that and for all of you! Number 2 is undoubtedly correct, but not my choice!!! and some foods, however hungry I am, would never sound good---opposum, most anything that one guy eats on tv---bugs, blood, innards of every sort, etc., but tea is almost always soul-satisfying!!! :) aunt c
